Religious Formation . Registration for 2009 /10 for grades 1 – 8 is now being held. You may register by mail, on line, or in the CCD Office during regular office hours. The registration fee is $60 per student. Students going into the 9th grade Confirmation program should also register by mail.

Family Perspective. Jesus tells us in today's gospel: “I am the true bread of life, whoever comes to me will never hunger. Do not work for food that perishes but for food that endures for eternal life.” If we are what we eat, then perhaps it is time to put your family on the the Gospel Diet and devote more time and energy to the “bread of life”.

Seminarian Sightings: This time of year many in our parish spend additional time with those who matter most. This is done with vacations, the parish picnic and other gatherings. As we deepen our relationships and love with one another; let us put added time and effort in growing deeper in love with the Lord. David

Wedding Anniversary Celebration. (Planning Ahead) Couples observing their twenty-fifth, fiftieth or other special wedding anniversaries are invited to the anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Archbishop Mansell will celebrate the Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Hartford. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Mass. A brief reception immediately follows. Registration for anniversary couples is requested by calling the Parish Office 272-5777.

Stewardship. The crowd in today's Gospel demanded a sign of Jesus and wanted to know what "work" he did to inspire their faith. May our faithful stewardship be a sign to others that we, like the Ephesians in the second reading, have laid aside our former way of life and acquired a "fresh, spiritual way of thinking" in Christ.

Wedding: Puttachad Ariyapitipun & John O'Brien Congratulations
