Youth Spectacular 2008 For those in grades 7–12, Saturday , Oct. 4th , 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM at Holiday Hill. Archbishop Mansell will give the keynote: “Who do you say that I am?”. Amazing Grace team builders and icebreakers, activities, continuous food, time for prayer, confession, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Mass, and much more . Registration deadline Sept. 12th. Cost $25 per person. (The first 20 from our parish will go for free !!) Call the Parish Office to register.

Family Perspective. The mother in today's gospel persisted, even when she was ignored and insulted. She would do whatever was necessary to bring relief for her child. Parenting is more than bringing life into the world; it is also about laying down your life.

Lourdes Shrine in Litchfield. In gratitude for 50 years of prayer and pilgrimage at the Shrine, Archbishop Mansell will join the Montfort Missionaries to preside in a Mass of Thanksgiving, on Sat. Sept. 6 at 11:30 AM, with a reception to follow. All are invited to attend.

Stewardship. In today's second reading St. Paul tells the Romans , "God's gifts and his call are irrevocable." To what is God calling me today? What gifts are mine to share?
