Confirmation registration will be held in the fall. Registration may be done by mail, on line at our website or in the Parish Center during office hours. Students registering for the first time must bring a copy of their baptismal certificate. The registration fee is $50 per student, however if you register before June 30th you will receive our reduced rate of $25 per student. Please make every effort to register early.
8th graders going into 9th grade are reminded to continue doing their Mass reports throughout the summer if they plan to join the Confirmation Program in September.
Forms are available on the table in the vestibule.

First Communion DVD Parents who ordered a DVD of their child's First Communion may pick it up after Mass today in the vestibule or in the church office during the week.

Helping Hands: Our parish is fortunate to have the Helping Hands ministry to assist the elderly, infirm or homebound members of our parish. There are 12 volunteers who can keep doctors' appointments, drive to church, take you shopping or do it for you. If you need help, please call Mildred at 272-0769. There is no charge for this help, and 48 hours notice is requested. A special thank you to our volunteers who give so generously of their time.

Stewardship: Saints Peter and Paul worked tirelessly to spread the Gospel. Not all can be apostles, but we, too, must be good stewards of our vocations, using the gifts we've been given in the service of God's kingdom.

Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Friday, July 11th at 10:00 AM due to the 4th of July Holiday.

Regional Center for Adult Religious Education announces the opening of its new Regional Center at Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 12 Ardsley Road, Waterbury, Ct. The introductory program will be a Scripture Series on Thursdays (July10, 17, 24, and 31) from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Sister Jewel Renna, CND, the coordinator of the Archdiocesan Catholic Biblical School will be the presenter. Please pre-register at 203-757-6612 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, by fax: 203-756-9656, or by e-mail at olowtby@comcast.net. The site is handicapped accessible, parking is ample, admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Family Perspective: In today's gospel Jesus renamed Simon. With the new name came Jesus' expectations of Peter. Naming is a serious and thoughtful family responsibility. When parents name a child, certain hopes, expectations and family connections are wrapped in the naming. What's in your name?
