90 Years Young ! Happy Birthday to Dolly Maratea who just celebrated a milestone. Still sharp and a joy to be with. Gets the best of care from Anna & Joe Ferry and the grandchildren. God is good.

Fr. Frisbie Bequest. In his time as pastor of this parish Father was very generous to so many people. Many of you were recipients of that generosity. His will left the remainder of his estate, $7,741, to the parish. Even now his good work goes on.

Ascension Thursday Masses for the Holyday: Wednesday – 4:00 PM Vigil, Thursday – 9:00 AM & 6:00 PM.

Second Collection next weekend is for Catholic Communication Campaign which provides media resources that spread the gospel message and connect communities and individuals to their faith and to the Church.

Pastoral Council will meet thisThursday following the 6:00 PM Mass (6:45 or so). Hamburgers, hot dogs etc. will be served. Reminder: It is important for each ministry and organization to have a representative at each Pastoral Council meeting. The next meeting will be June 10th at 6:30. Jim Gragnano will barbecue.

Women's Club will sponsor a Living Rosary, Thursday, May 20th at 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome! This is a lovely way to honor Mary in her special month.

Men's Club will meet on Monday, May 10th at 7:15 PM in the new Meeting Room. If you ordered flowers from the Men's Club they may be picked up in the Parish Center.

Religious Formation: All classes have ended for the year. Registration forms for next year will be mailed in June.
Congratulations to the First Communion Class It was a very enjoyable First Communion Day and May Crowning.
Holiday Hill Outing: The annual end of year outing for our students will be held at Holiday Hill on Monday, May 10th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Students must bring with them the signed permission slip given out in class.

Family Perspective: Today's gospel Jesus told his disciples “If you loved me, you would rejoice I am going...” When an adult child leaves home, we are happy for their maturity but there is an emptiness in a parent's heart. Our loss is their gain.

Archbishop's Annual Appeal: Next weekend is Commitment Weekend! All parishioners will have the opportunity to make a pledge to the 2010 Archbishop's Annual Appeal if they have not already done so.

Coffee & after all Masses this weekend

On this Mother's Day we pray that the Lord will bless all our
Mothers, grandmothers, and godmothers.

Let us show them our love
not only today, but each day of our
lives.
