Archbishop's Annual Appeal The 2009 Archbishop's Annual Appeal is now well underway. Every parish family is asked to consider making a pledge or one-time gift to this year's Appeal. Please return the commitment card you received in the mail as soon as possible. Your support of the 2009 Appeal ensures that essential educational, pastoral and charitable ministries of the Archdiocese of Hartford are sustained and carried forward.

Family Perspective. The gospel description of the Good Shepherd is a job description for parenting. Parents must “know” their children and “freely lay down their lives” each day by sacrificing for their children. Even when they don't want to listen, children must “hear our voice.” Like Jesus, it is our job to “lead” our children to the Father.

Mary - Month of May. On the table next to the banner honoring Mary is a basket for prayer petitions for the month of May. Please fill out a slip next to the basket with your petition. These will be included in the Prayer of the Faithful at all Masses during the month of May.

Stewardship. To be good stewards we must be good shepherds, willing to lay down our lives for those committed to our care, not mere hired hands who run off, "leaving the sheep to be snatched and scattered by the wolf".
