Children's Liturgy - 3rd graders will assist Fr. Gene today at the 11:00 AM Mass.
Youth Group will meet on Sunday, March 7th at 6:30 PM to rehearse for the Living Stations to be held April 2nd.
Eighth grade students are collecting bottles & cans during Lent to raise money to feed the hungry. Empty redeemable bottles & cans may be left in containers by the bicycle rack near the Parish Center entrance. (please empty all liquids first)




Money Laundering Again this year we are asking all parishioners to join our students in their Rice Bowl project by putting old coins and dirty bills into the large jug marked Operation Rice Bowl” which is in the vestibule. All monies collected will be sent to Catholic Relief Services.

Adult Religious Education The 2010 Winter-Spring Schedule for the Regional Adult Education Center, located at Our Lady of Loreto Church Hall, 12 Ardsley Road, Waterbury is posted on the bulletin board in the vestibule. To register for any of these programs please call 203-574-2070 and leave your name, phone number and the date of the sessions for which you are registering on the machine. All programs are free of charge.

St. Bridget School “Open Door Tours” St. Bridget School invites you to attend one of their “Open Door Tours” held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Parents and their children are invited to visit the school, observe the classrooms in session and meet with one of the administrators regarding enrollment. We welcome you to take advantage of this opportunity to see what St. Bridget School has to offer both spiritually and academically.

St .Patrick’s Day Dinner/Dance will be held on Saturday, March 13th starting at 6:30. Ticket price of $20pp ($15 for Seniors) includes a traditional corned beef cabbage dinner followed by dancing to the music of DJ Keith Allan. BYOB – mixers, coffee and dessert will be provided. Reservations will be taken by phone until March 9th - please call Mark at 272-9014. Proceeds will benefit the Men’s Club Scholarship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Friday at 10:00 AM in the Parish Center.


Family Perspective. On the mountain the appearance of Jesus changed. It is common to show a different face outside our family. Only with those closest to us do we dare reveal our real selves. Love in families is based on mutual acceptance. It's the real thing.

light meals during the day. No eating between meals; liquids are permitted.
Lenten Prayer Banner. Please write your prayer intentions on the colored crosses provided and attach them to the banner. Intentions on the banner will be prayed for during Lenten Masses.
Lenten Reading. Pamphlets are available on the table in the vestibule for your Lenten Reading. Please take one home. Additional Lenten books are on the bookcase in the Parish Center.
