Confirmation Forty-seven candidates will be confirmed this Friday, November 13th, by Archbishop Daniel A. Cronin. Please keep these young adults in your prayers this week.

Christmas Ornaments. The Youth Group will be selling Christmas Ornaments after Mass in the vestibule. This year's ornament features the Notch Store in Cheshire. Ornaments are $8.00 each and will also be available in the office during the week.

Senior Social . All seniors are welcome to an afternoon of refreshments, and bingo on Sunday, Nov. 15th at 12:30 PM.

Religious Formation: Classes scheduled this week:

Monday – Grades 2 & 8; Tuesday – Grades 1 & 7; Pre-school – 1:30 – 3:00 PM
Thursday - Confirmation Rehearsal – 7:00 – 8:30 PM

Children's LiturgyNext Sunday our 9th grade students will assist with the 11:00 AM Liturgy.

Pasta Supper. Save the date! Saturday, November 21st for the Youth Group's Annual Pasta Supper. Tickets will go on sale next weekend, November 14 & 15.

Book of Remembrance will be at the front of the church during November. Please write in the names of the deceased you want prayed for during November Masses; or you may tape in a funeral prayer card or obituary notice. We will have candles lit for those who died in our parish since last November. If you have lost a loved one this past year please call the Parish Office (272-5777) with the name so we can add a candle for them.

6th Annual Holiday Shopper's Delight. The Ladies Guild of St. Bridget Church is hosting this event featuring fifty vendors on Saturday, Nov. 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at St. Bridget School. Gift baskets made by Guild members will also be available. Admission is free. Lunch will be available from 11:00 to 2:00 PM.

Family Perspective. The widow in today's gospel invested “everything she had.” We are called to totally invest our trust, love and forgiveness in our family because this is the currency which glues a family together. Marriage and parenting are not for part-timers; they are full time careers demanding total investment.

This Tuesday, Nov. 10th there will be no morning Mass as I will be attending a Diocesan meeting for priests on Monday and Tuesday. Fr. Gene
