Pasta Supper. Tickets are on sale in the vestibule for the Pasta Supper, sponsored by our Youth Group, to be held on Sat., Nov. 8th at 5:30 PM. Adults $10; Seniors & Students $8, children under 6 free.
Come support our youth and have a great meal! Christmas Ornaments for 2008 are on sale this weekend!
Book of Remembrance will be at the front of the church during November. Please write in the names of the deceased you want prayed for during November Masses; or you may tape in a funeral prayer card or obituary notice. We will have candles lit for those who died in our parish since last December. If you have lost a loved one this past year please call the church office (272-5777) with the name so we can add a candle for them.
Fr. Kennedy's Adult Education class continues on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Friday at 10:00 AM in the Parish Center.

Conference.
The first ever Connecticut Catholic Men's
Conference will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Mass
at 3:00 PM. Fun, Exciting, Informative.
Five CT Bishops will attend. Enjoy dynamic speakers, including former NFL
star Danny Abramowicz.

Catholic Girl Scouts. The Archdiocese participates in the Catholic Religious Recognition program for Girl Scouts. Programs are available for scouts to earn their religious awards. A Spiritual Retreat Day will be held on Nov. 15th , flyers are available in the vestibule. You may contact Kathy at 250-0011 for more information.
Thank you , Kevin Wetmore and Sandy Hague for coordinating the clothing drive and all who helped after the Masses this past weekend. It was again a great work of mercy.
Women's Club meets on Nov. 6th to assemble cookie jars for their coming fund raiser. They need leftover Halloween candy. You can leave it in the box in the vestibule or bring it to CCD class on Monday.

Family Perspective. “Come to me, all who are burdened, I will give you rest.” Our loved ones, who have stepped through the door of death, are now free of all burdens. In going home to the Lord they brought their love and concern for us with them. Death cannot totally separate families; our love binds us together forever.
