Saturday Vigil Mass moves to 4:00 PM on Nov. 8th

Religious Formation . Mon. Gr. 2 & 8. Tues. 1 & 9. Our 8^th grade students will take part in the Living Rosary this Monday, Oct. 27^th at 7:00 PM. Parishioners are invited to attend this special devotion to Mary honoring her during the month of October.

All Saints Day. Vigil: 4 PM; Sat., Nov.1^st. 9:00 AM. All Souls Day will be celebrated on Sunday, Nov. 2^nd.

Book of Remembrance will be at the front of the church during November. Please write in the names of the deceased you want prayed for during November Masses; or you may tape in a funeral prayer card or obituary notice. We will have candles lit for those who died in our parish since last December. If you have lost a loved one this past year please call the church office (272-5777) with the name so we can add a candle for them.

Family Perspective. Halloween is the night before All Saints Day. Today's gospel asks us to concentrate on loving our neighbor. Our closest neighbors are the people with whom we live. Anyone can be “saint” in front of strangers but the daily acts of patience, acceptance, forgiveness, listening, and dying to oneself within the family are religious acts. Family life is the turf of sanctity.

Connecticut Catholic Men's Conference. The first ever Connecticut Catholic Men's Conference will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008; 8 AM to 5: PM. Mass at 3:00 PM. Fun, Exciting, Informative. Catholic Girl Scouts. The Archdiocese participates in the Catholic Religious Recognition program for Girl Scouts. Programs are available for scouts to earn their religious awards. Food Collection this weekend at all Masses

Children's Halloween Party today, Sunday, 3:00 – 4:00 (pre-k to 3^rd grade).

Annual Clothing Drive will be held this weekend, before and after all Masses. Help is needed in sorting and loading clothes on the truck after Mass. Confirmation students and Youth Group members are especially welcome.
